Ok, so Herman Cain is out of the race for the GOP nomination.
Bill Clinton sexually harassed women, and he also cheated on his wife. He kept his job as President.
Herman Cain is only *accused* of sexually harassing women, and only *accused* of cheating on his wife, and he has to drop out of a CAMPAIGN to GET the job of President.
Other than politics, the what's the one big difference between Herman Cain and Bill Clinton?? The color of their skin.
-----
Now here's Cain's hypocrasy: his spokesman said that consensual stuff is none of anyone's business. Why was it our business when Clinton did it, but not our business when Cain is alleged to have done it? Because Clinton's a Democrat, and Cain's a Republican.
National Politics sucks.

Repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell
Wow...so Congress finally did the right thing and repealed Don't Ask, Don't Tell. Full implementation will probably take right up to the new fiscal year.
It's about time. 95% of gays are no different than us straights, other than the gender of the person they go home to at night.
Being gay doesn't automatically mean you're a sexual predator. Being gay doesn't automatically mean you're going to regale everyone with tales of your sexual exploits. Being gay doesn't mean you're automatically overly promiscuous.
There's fear, uncertainty, and doubt being sown by people who believe only their religious beliefs should hold sway over all of us, and it's sad.
Gays are people, just like us straights, and all they want to do is live their lives.

Purpose of this blog
I created this particular blog just to post my opinion about news issues of the day. I'm not really going to post stuff out of my personal or professional life on *this* blog. I just hope to spark some interesting discussion.
